So little money yet so much to buy

I have a feeling my credit card and bank are going to be drained the next few weeks. I've found myself making longer and longer lists of stuff that I want to buy. A new bike, new summer clothes, more ps2 games, an xbox, a new pc, a bigger tv, etc. etc. etc. It's just so much >.>
All I can do is hope that my tax return arrives quick enough to help lessen the blow on my wallet.

Other then money woes, their isn't really all that much happening in my life right now to blog about so I'll just recap my last 2 weeks to fill up space xD

Last, last weekend was pretty "interesting". After work on Thursday, Leo abandoned everyone after pool and came over with Calum. Wasted some time on watching crap on Youtube,, and then played some NFS carbon. Anyway they both leave at like 11 and I go to sleep. 3 hours later, at like 2 am, my mom starts flipping out because she thinks Calum took her purse(personally I blame his shifty appearance for the accusation). Of course my mom ends up finding it the next day and I barely got any sleep because of it.

The week itself was boring, nothing happened at all other then work(so fun ugh).

The next weekend, which was last weekend now I guess, I camped out at Duy's house for 3 days straight. PS3 + GTA IV = Fun. I started playing Kingdom Hearts too, which is great so far. Oh and I learned that Family Feud can be addictive.

And this week the only really notable thing is that I started watching Death Note(yes finally). It's awesome so far, I hope it keeps up like this for the whole series.

So yeah thats been my last 2 weeks pretty much.

PS: if anyone wants to come waste money with me at yorkdale on like friday let me know, i'm probably going to go buy some summer stuff

I'm starting to hate my job

Let's go way back to when I started. My first day was extremely boring and it was kinda hard on my feet because I wasn't used to standing for 8 hours. I immediately thought of quitting because it was sooooo boring. But it only took me a week to get used to everything and so I was alright with my position(which was way easier then my last job). Now recently my indifferent feelings towards work have changed. Why? Mostly because of the new lame ass manager and his analicity(coining this term btw) towards HBC credit card acquisitions("instant credits") and credit blend(meaning the % of total transactions that are paid for with the HBC credit card).

Now because of this guy my manager is constantly on my ass about my credit blend and my instant credits. She even wants me to go to like some lame instant credit training meeting now. It's so stupid that they expect me to get a certain amount a week or whatever just because person x did. Most of the "person x's" are complete douchebags who use underhanded tactics like making up bullshit about the card or going into other departments looking for customers with a ton of merchandise(because the customer can get 10% off all that stuff by applying). Now because I'm such a *cough*nice and honest*cough* guy I refuse to do that kind of shit. If a customer says no I leave it at that.

It's really not my fault that I'm not up to "expectations". I barely get any traffic right now and the few customers I do get just plain don't want to use our crappy credit card(I can't blame them because personally, I rather use my Visa too).

Ah well I guess it's normal to hate your job eventually, just too bad it happened so soon. It was like 10 months into my last job before I started to hate it.

At least the rest of my week was good. I finally got my G1 after putting it off for like 2 years. Grats to Duy and PA for getting it too <3(we should "borrow" Leo's car and start learning to actually drive now). Oh and yeah also got to see Iron Man, which was awesome. Too bad we didn't stay for the hidden scene after the credits. Iron Man put me in the mood for superhero movies. I can't wait to see The Dark Knight when it comes out now.

My whole body is sore..

..after attending three concerts in seven days(look at my poor arm, huge bruise :( ). Now as everyone who is going to read this has probably never attended(and never will xD) a metal concert, I feel I should explain how crazy the crowds can get. Just try to imagine 200+ people all bunched together with barely enough room to breathe. Now imagine that same situation with all those people pushing and shoving in every direction. Oh and don't forget people crushing you from above and kicking you in the head as they try to surf the crowd. It ends up being a pretty intense workout because your constantly trying to push people away while trying to keep your balance so you don't fall over and get crushed. As most of the concerts I go to are like this, I'm sure you can see why I'm exhausted after three of them.

Anyway the concerts were:
Kalmah(melodic death metal)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UT32PE47gqo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRsdU-kh_pw

Kalmah was great to see live, especially from front row where I was. The venue didn't have anything separating the stage from the crowd so I was about half a meter away from the band. Too bad my legs got crushed against the stage for most of it though.

Paganfest with Tyr, Turisas and Ensiferum(folk metal bands, I went mainly for Ensiferum)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12x87jtmcwI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKZd4U397M4

This was definitely the best concert out of the three. I ended up in a great spot right along front row around the left side of the stage. In this spot I was barely pushed around, if at all. On to the the bands: Tyr was meh, never really listened to them much so I wasn't really into their set. Turisas was on next, and again I never really listened to them much, but they were much more energetic then Tyr and I actually enjoyed a few of the songs. Ensiferum was on last and they were great as usual. They played most of the songs I wanted to hear so I was pretty pleased by the end of the show. It was just too bad that the TTC decided to go on strike about 10 minutes after the whole thing ended. But I got home fairly quickly regardless(thanks Leo) so it was a still a great night.

Gigantour with Children of Bodom(melodic death metal), In Flames(melodic death metal), and Megadeth(thrash metal)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjZpqgeiGFQ
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW6WY-YB7wY
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtsD2tBPZgo

Gigantour was probably the most intense out of the three concerts. And when I say intense I mean the crowd. After the second band I had to step out and grab a drink because I was just so exhausted(and not to mention completely soaked in sweat). Children of Bodom was on first and they were pretty decent. They didn't play enough material that I recognized though. In Flames was second and they were so-so. Played too much of their crappy new material instead of the older/far better material they have. Megadeth was on last and they definatly stole the show for me. Great set with most of the songs I was looking forward too. Only bad part of the night was being dropped off at 11:45 in the middle of nowhere around Warden and St. Clair(it took me like an hour to get home).

So that ends my late April concert spree. I deserve a good few weeks break now. Hopefully I won't have too many concerts to go to during the summer because the heat is just going to be brutal with the intense crowds :(
